Sheila Lewis
Sheila writes ‘I have painted for the last 20 years, exhibiting my work in various venues throughout the North East. I am a member of Gateshead Art Society and also exhibit my work in the yearly exhibition held at the Shipley Art Gallery.
I have recently retired from a career in Health and Social Care and am looking forward to having a more creative time in the future.
I work in several media, watercolour,acrylic and painting on Satin.
My hobbies are walking, cycling, sailing and climbing, I take many photographs on my outings and use these as inspiration for my artwork.’
