Studio & Classes
The Gallery provides a space where local artists can create and share their work.
Regular classes and workshops covering all styles of painting are usually held throughout the year.
Room hire charges from 1st January 2025

£40.00 per day - 10.00 - 4.00
£20.00 per half day - 10.00 - 1.00 or 1.00 - 4.00
Members hiring the Studio will be given a discount of £10 per day (£5 per half day) NB exceptions to these timings can be made using the appropriate rates.

When booking, bear in mind the Studio has a regular Tuesday Art Group and is occasionally used on Saturdays. (See below) The studio has 14 2ft x 4ft lightweight tables which can be quickly set out.

Tuesday Art Group

Started by Rob Walker, and continuing with Carmen, Ged and Elidh, this is a self contained group with in the Arts Centre. Its members aim to develop their art skills in company and hope have occasional tutors as the group develops. This group is open to new members. It starts at 10am and finishes at lunchtime. Saturday Classes 2025
In the Coquetdale Art Gallery Studio we run Saturday classes for up to 12 people taught by an artist who has expertise to share.
You do not need to be a member to attend a class and beginners are always welcome. Each class costs around £30, to be paid in advance and runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm, with a lunch break, of course.

Cancellations to be made at least two weeks prior to the class - refunds will be given only if cancelled more than two weeks prior to the class; however, if we are able to fill the space, a refund will be given.
